Did you invoice every dollar of revenue you’ve actually earned?
The Revenue Recovery X-Ray analyzes your shipment, operational, commercial, and billing data to identify where revenue may have been missed. We compare what should have been billed against what was actually invoiced, quantify the potential revenue gap, and show your Finance team what to investigate first.
Discuss how an evidence-based audit could help your Finance team investigate potential revenue gaps.

One audit. Three months of data. A clearer view of potential revenue gaps.
Built-in risk protection
How confident are you that things aren’t slipping through the cracks?
The question isn’t simply whether your invoices have been issued. It’s whether your actual invoicing matches what should have been billed.
“things are slipping through the cracks”
When expected billing and actual invoicing are not systematically compared, potential revenue gaps can remain unidentified.
“Our controller is buried”
Finance needs a clearer view of potential revenue exceptions—not another open-ended investigation without a defined scope.
“spends most of his time hunting things down”
Finding answers across shipment, operational, commercial, and billing records can take time. Without supporting evidence organised around each identified exception, investigation becomes harder to manage.
“margins get blurry”
When the expected commercial outcome and the actual billing do not line up, it becomes harder to understand what a shipment should have earned and where a potential gap needs attention.
“the risk of costly mistakes keeps climbing”
The longer potential discrepancies remain uninvestigated, the harder it can be to establish what happened and determine the appropriate next step.
Find potential revenue gaps. Understand the evidence. Decide what to investigate first.
The Revenue Recovery X-Ray examines three months of recent data to compare expected billing with actual invoicing, quantify identified potential revenue gaps, and organise the supporting evidence.
Five ways the X-Ray helps your Finance team
Compare expected billing with actual invoicing
Analyse shipment, operational, commercial, and billing data to identify potential gaps between what should have been billed and what was actually invoiced.
Quantify the potential revenue gap
Estimate the potentially recoverable revenue identified in the qualified data, without promising a particular recovery amount.
Provide evidence for identified exceptions
Receive an evidence pack supporting each identified revenue exception, so your team can review the underlying information.
Show Finance what to investigate first
Use the Revenue Recovery Action File and evidence-based recommendations to prioritise follow-up on identified exceptions.
Analyse three months of recent data
Work within an agreed three-month analysis window, with the leakage categories defined before substantive analysis begins.
The result: a structured, evidence-based view of identified potential revenue gaps and the next steps your Finance team can consider.
From Data to Evidence-Backed Findings
From data qualification to evidence-backed findings, with scope agreed before analysis begins.
Step 1 — Define the Scope
Agree on what the X-Ray will investigate.
Before the project starts, we define the revenue leakage categories to be analysed and establish the agreed scope.
This sets the basis for the analysis and for assessing the findings.
Step 2 — Qualify the Data
Establish whether the required data supports the analysis.
We review the mandatory, strongly recommended, and relevant optional data. Up to two calls with data owners can be used to clarify questions before the data-quality gate.
The analysis scope depends on the data that qualifies for use.
Step 3 — Analyse and Document
Compare the records. Identify potential gaps. Build the evidence.
We run the analysis features supported by the qualified data and prepare evidence packs for identified exceptions across the analysed shipments.
Each identified exception must meet the agreed evidence standard.
Step 4 — Deliver the Findings
Receive the reports, action file, and evidence packs.
You receive the agreed reports, the Revenue Recovery Action File, and evidence packs for the analysed shipments.
Delivery is complete when all evidence packs for all analysed shipments have been provided, in line with the agreed scope.
Delivery timeline: 15 business days after the agreed data and access are available.
Revenue Recovery X-Ray: What the Audit Delivers
An evidence-based view of potential revenue gaps, within the agreed scope.
The audit includes the following services where qualified data supports the relevant analysis.
Revenue Data Qualification & Integration
Establish whether your data is suitable for the agreed analysis.
Review the required files, assess data quality, identify relevant gaps, and clarify questions with your data owners before the data-quality gate.
The analysis proceeds based on the agreed scope and the data available to support it.
Revenue Completeness Test
Check whether expected billing and actual invoicing align.
Compare relevant shipment and billing information to identify potential revenue gaps within the agreed leakage categories and qualified data.
Shipment-Level Revenue Reconstruction
Reconstruct the revenue picture at shipment level.
Bring relevant commercial, operational, cost, and billing records together to establish the evidence available for each analysed shipment.
Potential Revenue Gap Quantification
Understand the potential value of identified exceptions.
Quantify the potential revenue gap supported by the qualified data. Findings represent potentially recoverable revenue identified—not money guaranteed to be recovered.
Revenue Leakage Exception Report
Review identified exceptions and their supporting evidence.
Receive a structured report of potential revenue gaps, their estimated value where supported, and the evidence required for investigation.
Revenue Recovery Action File
Turn identified exceptions into a structured follow-up plan.
Use the action file to review identified exceptions, understand which items warrant attention, and determine what your Finance team should investigate next.
Revenue Leakage Patterns & Recommendations
Understand recurring patterns in the identified gaps.
Where the data supports it, analyse patterns across exceptions and provide evidence-based recommendations to guide further investigation and follow-up.
Executive Revenue Recovery Report
Give decision-makers a clear view of the findings.
Receive an executive-level summary of the analysis, identified potential revenue gaps, relevant patterns, and recommended next steps within the agreed scope.
The Revenue Recovery X-Ray has ten analysis features in total. All applicable features are included in the audit results when the qualified data supports them. The exact analysis scope and leakage categories are agreed before the project begins.
From Potential Revenue Gaps to Evidence-Backed Action
Know What Your Operation Should Have Earned
Know what your operation should have earned—not just what your invoices say you earned.
Identify potential revenue gaps by comparing expected billing with actual invoicing, so your Finance team can investigate where revenue may have been missed and gain a clearer view of what your operation has earned.
Pinpoint and Understand Revenue Exceptions
The Revenue Leakage Exception Report identifies potential gaps between expected revenue and actual invoicing, quantifies the identified gap, and provides supporting evidence for investigation.
Give your Finance team a clearer basis for understanding what happened, assessing potential margin impact, and deciding what needs attention.
See the Potential Revenue Inside Your Billing Gaps
Understand how much potential revenue has been identified in your qualified data—and where the identified gaps occur.
Replace guesswork with an evidence-based view of potential revenue leakage, so your team can focus its attention on the exceptions that warrant investigation.
Turn Identified Revenue Gaps Into Clear Next Steps
The Revenue Recovery Action File turns identified revenue exceptions into a structured, prioritized action plan.
See which identified exceptions require attention, review the supporting evidence, and understand what your Finance team should investigate next—so potential revenue gaps can be addressed through informed follow-up.

What happens after delivery?
Your Finance team reviews the findings and supporting evidence, then decides which exceptions to investigate and what recovery actions to take.
The audit identifies potentially recoverable revenue. It does not guarantee that identified amounts will be collected or that all possible revenue leakage will be detected.
Evidence-Based Findings. Clear Delivery Commitments.
The Revenue Recovery X-Ray is designed to give your Finance team findings it can investigate—not unsupported estimates presented as facts.
Our guarantees address the quality of identified findings, delivery commitments, and agreed project scope. They do not guarantee that every possible revenue gap will be detected or that a specific amount will be recovered.
Evidence-Based Findings Guarantee
Every identified revenue exception must be supported by underlying commercial, operational, cost, or billing evidence.
If an identified exception fails the agreed evidence standard, we investigate and correct it at no extra cost.
This guarantee applies to the evidence supporting identified exceptions. It is not a guarantee of exhaustive detection.
15-Day Delivery Guarantee
Once the agreed data and access are available, we commit to completing the Revenue Recovery X-Ray within 15 business days.
If a delay within our control extends beyond that timeline:
- You receive a credit equal to 10% of the project fee for each additional five business days of delay.
- Total credits are capped at 30% of the project fee.
- If the X-Ray remains incomplete after a further 10 business days, you may terminate the project and receive a refund of the fee paid for the undelivered X-Ray, according to the agreed terms.
Data & Delivery Guarantee
If a technical, data-format, or integration issue within the agreed scope affects delivery, we will resolve the issue, work around it, or rebuild the affected analysis at no extra cost.
The guarantee applies to issues within the agreed scope. It does not remove the need for the agreed data to be available and suitable for the analysis.
Five-Day No-Regret Decision Guarantee
After the initial payment, you have five working days to decide whether the project is right for you.
If you decide to walk away within that period, before substantive analysis begins, you may exit without penalty and receive a full refund of your initial payment.
